Taylor Swift lyrics soap opera on The Late Late Show with Julianne Moore, John Stamos, and James Corden

Taylor Swift songs are full of enough passion, drama, and heartbreak to fit perfectly into any soap opera. So on Monday night’s episode of The Late Late Show, James Corden was joined by Julianne Moore and John Stamos to act out a script based entirely on Taylor Swift lyrics.

The Bold and the Lyrical told the story of Juliette Moore who “gets drunk on jealousy” and James Cordone who “keeps cruising, can’t stop, won’t stop moving.”

The sketch moved through Swift’s hits including “Blank Space,” “Bad Blood” and “I Knew You Were Trouble,” and after Moore slapped Corden, she told him to “shake it off.”

“Never mind, I’ll find someone like you,” Moore said. But Corden had to break character to remind her that she was reciting Adele, not Swift. “Good song, though,” Corden admitted.

One of the highlights of the sketch included John Stamos’ dramatic entrance as John Stamosa, an ex-lover of Moore’s who reminded Corden that “players gonna play, play, play.”
