Lamar Odom update: Kris Jenner asks for continued prayers

Kris Jenner is asking fans to keep Lamar Odom in their prayers, as the former NBA star’s condition reportedly appears to be improving.

The Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch posted the Bible verse Mark 11:24 to Instagram on Friday. It reads, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Liza Morales, the mother of Odom’s children Destiny and Lamar Jr., similarly asked for prayers. “The TRUTH is God is good. All the time,” she tweeted. “Continued prayers for my children and their father. Thank you for the support and well wishes.”

Odom was rushed to a hospital Tuesday night after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. A source told People Friday that he regained consciousness, though his situation “remains guarded.”

Jim Harrick, Odom’s former college basketball coach, told The Associated Press that his condition is “much improved.” Additionally, he said he spoke with the basketball player’s estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, who said that Odom is off dialysis and his “kidneys are all right.” Harrick plans to visit the hospital next week.
