Michael J. Fox Back to the Future action figure on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

It’s hard to believe that it took 30 years for a Marty McFly action figure to hit the shelves, but on Wednesday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host brought one out and showed it to a relieved Michael J. Fox.

The actor said he loved the details and liked the look of his miniature self, but in the beginning stages of the doll, noticed one major design flaw: “Originally they had this thing going right up my ass,” Fox said, pointing to a metal bar used to hold up the action figure.

Fox asked for it to be redesigned so it would be “a non-violated Marty McFly.”

Kimmel also noticed another missing detail: “You’d think Marty McFly would have a fly, but it’s velcro!”
