The Grinder full season ordered by Fox

The Grinder has won its case for a full season.

Fox has ordered an additional nine episodes of the freshman family/legal comedy starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage.

The show’s critical praise has been stronger than its ratings; it’s averaging 4.3 million viewers per episode and a 1.4 in the key 18–49 demo. The network noted that The Grinder is doing 70 percent better in the 18–49 demo in the time slot than last fall’s occupants, which included the short-lived Utopia and repeats of other Fox series.
