Chvrches and Hayley Williams team up onstage

Ain’t it fun when Hayley Williams makes a cameo during a Chvrches show? The answer: Definitely.

The Paramore frontwoman joined the Scottish band in Nashville Wednesday evening to help them out with “Bury It,” a track from this year’s Every Open Eye.

“Don’t know what was more fun,” Williams tweeted after the show, along with a photo of her with the group, “finally meeting these buds or singing a song w/ them.”

Although this was the first time they’ve met, Chvrches and Paramore are far from unaware of each other: Chvrches covered Paramore’s “Ignorance” on Rock Band in August, and Williams announced Wednesday that they’ll be performing on Paramore’s second-ever PARAHOY! cruise when it sets off to sea March 5.

Paramore made the announcement via a (mostly silent) video featuring some help from a very cute dog and a couple of colorful pens. X Ambassadors, Lights, New Found Glory, mewithoutYou, and Vacationer will also be joining them on the voyage. See that video and a fan-shot one of their “Bury It” performance below.
