Eric Stonestreet: Ellen DeGeneres will no longer scare him on her show

Ellen DeGeneres loves to scare the very easily scared Eric Stonestreet — but the Ellen DeGeneres Show host vowed she would stop scaring the Modern Family star on Monday’s episode.

Her change of heart comes soon after sending executive producer Andy Lassner and Stonestreet to a haunted house, where the two proceeded to show just how brave (meaning, not brave at all) they are.

In a clip from Tuesday’s episode, Stonestreet recounts his haunted house experience before DeGeneres breaks the news to him: “We’ve had fun scaring you,” she says, “but we have retired it, we are done.”
