The new year will be a busy one for Rita Wilson, who – though more known for being an actress and producer – is set to release a self-titled album and embark on a spring tour.

Rita Wilson will be her first album featuring original songs she co-wrote with acclaimed songwriters like Nathan Chapman, Kara DioGuardi, and Jason Reeves. She previously released AM/FM in 2012, a collection of ’60s and ’70s classics. Between her film and TV work, she’s also had a handful of other musical projects, including a Broadway stint as Roxie Hart in Chicago and a two-week residency in 2014 at New York’s Café Carlyle, where she performed some material from her new album.

Following the album’s release in early 2016, Wilson will have another residency at Café Carlyle before kicking off her 21-city tour in Solana Beach, Cali. on March 29. For a full list of dates head to Wilson’s website.
