At the American Music Awards on Sunday night, Clueless stars Alicia Silverstone and Jeremy Sisto reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the high-school classic and introduce a performance from Gwen Stefani.

“One of the many many great things in the movie was this young, up-and-coming band No Doubt, and their song ‘Just a Girl,'” Sisto said before introducing Stefani and her latest track, “Used to Love You.”

“Just a Girl” plays in the beginning of Clueless, but doesn’t appear on the film’s official soundtrack, owing to the fact No Doubt was signed to another record label. “I was like, ‘This is crazy, this song’s huge!'” Clueless music supervisor Karyn Rachtman told Idolator in 2013. “And they wouldn’t let me release it [as a single].”

The song would get an official release in September of 1995, a month before Tragic Kingdom made its debut. Clueless had premiered in July of that year.
