Billy Eichner: Rachel Dratch Scientology segment airs on 'Billy on the Street

In an intense obstacle course on Billy on the Street, Rachel Dratch had no time to reflect on the terrors of Scientology as she experienced what host Billy Eichner called “Leah Remini’s Escape from Scientology!” The game included a quickie wedding with an alien priest, a search for Shelly Miscavige (the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige) in a pool of a jello, and a mini-volcano �� the one from the cover of Dianetics, the guide to Scientology — that stopped Dratch in her tracks.

Eichner breathlessly guided a nervous-looking Dratch through the appropriately weird course, cheering her on while noting each of the references to Scientology, from the Mission: Impossible T-shirt worn by “Miscavige” to the Elisabeth Moss stand-in casually sitting in front of “John Travolta’s shed.” By the time Dratch reaches the final obstacle, the volcano, she’s dazed, screaming as the fake lava rushes toward her before she can reach the TV Land executive she’s instructed to save.
