Back in 2008, Prince covered Radiohead’s “Creep” at Coachella, but reportedly kept clips from surfacing online. Every time one appeared, it was taken down — to the point that even Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke commented on Prince’s actions. “Well, tell him to unblock it. It’s our … song,” Yorke told the Associated Press

Now it’s nearly impossible to keep videos from appearing online, and footage of Prince performing “Creep” has been around since at least October. Prince, though, may have just taken notice. His Purpleness tweeted the video and just said, “CREEP … LIVE.”

Prince is known for his issues with streaming services. This past summer, after he pulled his catalog from Spotify, Prince told reporters he thought record contracts were like “slavery,” and released his last album HITNRUN on Jay Z’s artist-friendly Tidal. He had the same sentiment back in the ’90s when he performed with the word “slave” written on his face when he was sparring with Warner Bros. over his contract.
