The Apocalypse is coming sooner than X-Men fans expected.

Fox has announced the first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will arrive on Friday. Originally, the trailer was set to debut in theaters with Star Wars: The Force Awakens next week, but Fox is giving fans an early chance to watch the trailer on the studio’s YouTube page.

Alongside the announcement, Fox also unveiled a new motion poster for the film, depicting the iconic X-Men team symbol half-covered in dirt, a molten crack surging through its center. Along with the poster comes an ominous tagline (“Only the strong will survive”), which suggests not everyone will escape the arrival of villain Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac, unscathed.
