Broad City: Hillary Clinton to drop by season 3

The presidential candidate tweeted a photo of herself with creators and stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson and EP Amy Poehler

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has been showing off her comedy chops a lot recently. Following her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, Clinton revealed Friday that she will appear in the third season of Comedy Central’s acclaimed series Broad City. Comedy Central later confirmed the news.

Series creators and stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson are both vocal supporters of Clinton, and Clinton herself has stated that Amy Poehler, the show’s executive producer and former Hillary impressionist on Saturday Night Live, is a friend.

Clinton tweeted a picture of herself with Poehler, Glazer, and Jacobson, even including Ilana’s favorite exclamation “Yas” in a hashtag. Afterward, the show’s Twitter account posted a picture with footage from Clinton’s episode, featuring the politician smiling as Abbi and Ilana rest their heads on her shoulders in contentment.
