To be or not to be? That is the question, though you probably know the answer as Oscar Isaac prepares for the end of days in the new X-Men: Apocalypse poster.

Director Bryan Singer released the latest look at his superhero disaster movie on Instagram. The image sees Isaac’s En Sabah Nur in a Hamlet-inspired pose staring into the empty eyes of a human (or mutant) skull. “Only the strong will survive,” reads the image, while Singer’s post quoted the character from the trailer, “… from the ashes of their world we’ll build a better one.”

Singer teased X-Men: Apocalypse as the culmination of six X-Men movies and features one of the most famous arcs from the comics. An ancient mutant from Egyptian times awakens to claim dominion over the world and shape it in his image. Among the returning talent of Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender are the likes of Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, and many, many more.
