Ryan Reynolds puts a Deadpool twist on the yule log

Leave it to Deadpool to celebrate the holidays with an hourlong poop joke.

Ryan Reynolds, who plays the mouthy mercenary antihero in Fox’s upcoming movie, continued his Deadpool promotional blitz Wednesday by sharing his take on the annual Yule Log broadcast: The ’Pool Log is a 69-minute YouTube video of a paper bag burning on a snow-dusted doorstep. Just what’s inside the bag, which itself is emblazoned with a crude Deadpool doodle, is left up to the imagination, but you can ask a teenage boy if you’re stumped.

Oddly enough, the video does not end with someone stomping on the bag to extinguish it.

In related news, Reynolds also donned the character’s trademark red bodysuit for a synergistic TV spot trumpeting the NBA’s Christmas Day schedule, which will feature five games back-to-back (to-back-to-back-to-back), with the debut of a new Deadpool trailer somewhere in there.
