Togetherness season 2 trailer: Steve Zissis gets a girlfriend

Season 1 didn’t end so great for the Togetherness crew, but the season 2 trailer for the HBO comedy-drama shows that things might be looking up — at least for Alex (Steve Zissis), who apparently has replaced his crush on Tina (Amanda Peet) with a dreamy new girlfriend.

It’s unclear where Brett (Mark Duplass) and Michelle (Melanie Lynskey) are as a couple, though: The last we saw of Michelle, she was making out with her new bud David (John Ortiz) as Brett drove to the hotel where she was staying to surprise her and declare his love. Here, the focus is on Alex and Tina’s ever-changing (and ever-complicated) non-relationship.
