Grimm: David Giuntoli stars in Slamdance comedy Honey Buddies

In the new comedy Honey Buddies, David Giuntoli (Grimm) plays a man named David who is left by his fiancée just days before the wedding. What’s funny about that? Well, David’s friend Flula (Flula Borg) insists that the pair go on David’s previously planned honeymoon: a seven-day backpacking trip through the mountains of Oregon. On the trail, the two friends cross paths with a conspiracy theorist (Brian T. Finney), a friendly backpacker (Claire Coffee), and a bloodthirsty predator.

Directed by Alex Simmons (who also cowrote the film with Giuntoli and Borg), Honey Buddies screens at the upcoming Slamdance Festival in Park City, Utah, on Jan. 23 and Jan. 25.
