David Bowie: 60 Minutes to air unseen interview clips

60 Minutes will be pulling back the curtain on David Bowie.

The CBS news program announced Friday it would broadcast previously unaired interview segments with the late pop icon at the end of Sunday’s broadcast.

Bowie was interviewed by 60 Minutes three time in 2003 ahead of his A Reality Tour, which would be his final worldwide trek. The segment never aired due to “scheduling conflicts and illnesses,” according to CBS.

With his tour in front of him, Bowie seemed content with where his life was. “I’ve a great, wonderful domestic life. My public life — songwriting, the recording, performances and all that, side of it — are really enjoyable,” Bowie told producer-editor Robert Zimet, per CBS. “They’ve never been so enjoyable. So, I consider myself really a very lucky guy. I really do.”

Bowie died Jan. 10 after a battle with cancer, two days after the release of his final album Blackstar.

60 Minutes airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
