Emma and Neal may soon be reunited on Once Upon a Time!

Michael Raymond-James will reprise his role as Neal Cassidy in the landmark 100th episode, EW has learned.

The True Blood and Terriers alum, who will next star in NBC’s Game of Silence, first made his debut in the season 2 premiere as a mysterious man later revealed to be Rumplestiltskin’s (Robert Carlyle) son Baelfire, as well as Emma’s (Jennifer Morrison) first love and Henry’s (Jared Gilmore) father. Neal died in the third season and was last seen via flashback in that year’s finale.

Details on how Neal will appear are being kept under wraps, though with Emma and the gang heading to the Underworld, one would assume that’s where he’ll be — Morrison, however, has doubts about that.

“As far as I understand, Hades only has people that have unresolved issues,” the actress told EW while shooting the 100th episode. “Neal died pretty resolved. He died a hero, he died knowing why he was dying and making that choice, and that didn’t involve taking on the Darkness. Hook [Colin O’Donoghue] took on all of the darkness of the Dark Ones in order to sacrifice himself, so that was clearly a choice that involved Darkness. As far as I understand, Neal’s death wouldn’t be considered wrapped up in Darkness in any way, so I guess that would mean he would go somewhere else. I don’t totally know.”

Neal isn’t the only familiar face making a return. The ABC fairy tale drama will welcome back Cora (Barbara Hershey), Henry (Tony Perez,) Peter Pan (Robbie Kay), Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit), Milah (Rachel Shelley) and many more in the back half of the season, which features Greg Germann as Hades.
