Paul Simon announced plans Sunday evening to embark on his first solo U.S. tour since 2011. The string of dates, which begins on April 29 in New Orleans and wraps up June 30 in Queens, will support Simon’s upcoming album Stranger to Stranger, according to a Rolling Stone report.

Planned for the recently renovated Forest Hills Stadium, Simon’s Queens gig bears special significance: The artist grew up and met Art Garfunkel in the New York borough and he last performed at the venue in 1970 as a part of Simon & Garfunkel. That concert was the final one the duo played before going on their first hiatus, which they’d return from in 1972 when they played a benefit concert for presidential candidate George McGovern at Madison Square Garden. (Forest Hills Stadium largely stopped staging concerts in the late 1980s until it reopened amidst a renovation effort in 2013.)

Simon embarked on a co-headlining tour with Sting in 2014. His previous studio album, So Beautiful or So What, came out in 2011.
