Alien: Covenant looks to have room for one more: Billy Crudup is in talks for a role in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi film, EW has confirmed.

News of the Spotlight actor circling Covenant comes on the heels of Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, and Callie Hernandez joining the cast. Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, and Danny McBride were already on board.

Crudup’s potential role has yet to be revealed, and plot details are still scarce. Fox did reveal late last year that the story centers on the crew of the colony spaceship Covenant, who discover what they think is an uncharted paradise. In fact, it’s a dangerous world whose sole inhabitant is the synethetic humanoid David (Fassbender), last seen causing trouble in Prometheus.

Scott has said that Covenant will serve as a sequel to Prometheus and a prequel of sorts to his 1979 film Alien. Production is slated to begin next month in Australia.

Deadline first reported the news about Crudup.
