This summer’s ESSENCE Festival has landed the hottest rapper in the game.

Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar returns to New Orleans to headline the musical bash from June 30 to July 3. Joining him to perform over the four nights at the Superdome are Mariah Carey, Ciara, Maxwell, Andra Day, New Edition, Babyface, Charlie Wilson, Faith Evans, and more.

“The ESSENCE Festival is back in New Orleans with an extraordinary roster of the biggest names and best performers in entertainment — from global music icons to the industry’ rising stars,” ESSENCE President Michelle Ebanks said in a statement.

The 22nd iteration of the festival will debut the World Music Superlounge, which will shine a spotlight on international musicians, such as South Africa’s Zakes Bantwini and Skye Wanda.
