Following the short glimpse of the film Kerry Washington gave fans in February, HBO debuted an extended trailer on Friday for Confirmation, its dramatization of the media storm surrounding Anita Hill’s allegations of sexual assault against then-Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas in 1991.

Washington stars as Hill, a former U.S. Department of Education and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission employee who publicly testified against Thomas (Wendell Pierce) shortly before he was confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice.
