In a sketch titled “The Champ” from this weekend’s SNL, host Jonah Hill plays Nate, a high school wrestler who wins a surprising victory over the unstoppable Tyler Stevens (Taran Killam) of Great Oak. As it turns out, it was too good to be true.

Nate turns on the news after his buddies drop him off at home to hear the top story: “a heartwarming tale of generosity as undefeated high school wrestler Tyler Stevens allowed himself to get pinned by the school loser as an act of charity.”

The team’s mantra, “Tigers forever,” turns hollow as Nate’s supposed friends tell News 4 how “everyone feels very sorry for Nate because he sucks so hard,” while the high school janitor describes the pumpkin that serves as Nate’s girlfriend.
