After tweeting that her “[heart] is with” Kesha last month, Ariana Grande again voiced her support for the singer during a recent radio interview.

“I love Kesha. I worked with her when I was a lot younger,” she told Carson Daly on AMP Radio’s The Daly Download. “The incredible double standards that we [women] face on a daily basis, in the industry and just in the world, it’s shocking. I would be so amused — and pardon me if this comes across as sexist — but I don’t think a male artist would be in this position right now. Sorry.”

The 22-year-old Grande is one of a number of stars who have spoken out in support of Kesha, including Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga. Kesha is in the midst of a lawsuit against former collaborator Dr. Luke. She’s suing the music producer for alleged sexual and emotional abuse and seeks to be released from her contract. Dr. Luke and his lawyers have denied the allegations.

“If I’m speaking out about something I’m passionate about, I’m willing to take the brunt for fighting for what I believe in,” Grande added. “And my fellow women are definitely something that I will always be one of the first to speak up about.”

Grande released her latest single, “Dangerous Woman,” on Friday, and is due to host and perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
