The Queen director Stephen Frears considers a rather different public figure in his new film The Program, which details the rise and fall of cyclist Lance Armstrong.

Ben Foster (The Messenger) plays the disgraced seven-time Tour de France champion, while Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids) portrays journalist David Walsh, who first interviewed Armstrong way back in 1993 and whose book Seven Deadly Sins inspired Frears’ film. Other cast members include Jesse Plemons, Lee Pace, Guillaume Canet, and Dustin Hoffman.

The Program, which is out in theaters and on VOD Friday, is now exclusively available to watch on DirecTV. You can see the film’s trailer below and a clip from the movie above.
