As tributes and remembrances continue to pour in for Garry Shandling, the late comedian’s recent appearance on Jerry Seinfeld’s web series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” has struck a particular chord with fans.

Released in January with the title “It’s Great That Garry Shandling Is Still Alive,” the episode found Shandling and Seinfeld discussing life, mortality, and comedy with the easy-going manner of two long-time friends.

Following Shandling’s death on Thursday at 66, Seinfeld’s wife, Jessica Seinfeld, posted a photo from the episode, which was Jerry’s final day spent with Shandling.

“We have been crying/laughing/crying through Jerry’s last day with Garry all afternoon,” she wrote. “There is no better tribute and no better reminder of what a beautiful, gentle, BRILLIANT sweet angel Garry Shandling was.” A link to the “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” episode was also included in her post.

Jerry posted the photo and caption to his own Instagram account as well, but has made no other comment regarding Shandling’s death.

The 66-year-old Shandling was memorialized throughout Hollywood, including by Conan O’Brien, Steve Martin, Amy Schumer, Jimmy Kimmel, Lena Dunham, Bob Odenkirk, Jeffrey Tambor, Judd Apatow, and many more. According to his publicist, Shandling suffered a heart attack.
