Batman v Superman weather forecast drops references to superhero film

Sian Welby from Channel 5 News in in the U.K. earned viral fame for flooding her weather report with dozens of Star Wars references in honor of The Force Awakens. Now she returns with a new forecast filled to the brim with nods to the DC universe as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters.

“You needed X-ray vision to see through the fog in some parts this morning, even a touch of frost in the small villages, so it’s Harley a Quinn-cidence the temperatures will be lowest in the North and the West,” she began with plays on one of Superman’s signature abilities and the Joker’s sinister sidekick.

Other puns include “Adam West,” who played Batman in the TV series from the ’60s; the character’s home city of Gotham; The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film with Christian Bale; and “Grayson,” referring to Dick Grayson (a.k.a. Robin, Boy Wonder).
