Alan Cumming is feeling the Bern. The actor, who plays Chicago campaign manager Eli Gold on The Good Wife, has endorsed Bernie Sanders for president in a new video.

“The important thing to remember when you vote for the President of the United States of America is that you’re voting for a leader,” he said. “You’re voting for someone who inspires you, and leads you, and makes you a better person. I’m really inspired by the messages of Bernie Sanders.”

He continued, “I think the fact that he believes that America can be a fair and just country, where everyone can have access to healthcare and education, that really inspires me and that makes me want to vote for a better America.”
