'Preacher' sneak peek shows backseat hyper-violence

We’d wager a lot of money that writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon’s beloved horror-comedy-Western comic Preacher features the most ass-kicking fictional character ever to be gifted the name Tulip. And judging by a new clip from AMC’s forthcoming adaptation — the brainchild of Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and showrunner Sam Catlin — it looks like actress Ruth Negga is determined to do her character justice in the rump-booting department.

Preacher also stars Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, and Ian Colletti, among others, and premieres May 22. You can see Negga in action, below.
