After The Shannara Chronicles wrapped its first season on March 1, fans have been waiting to find out whether there will be more fantasy drama in their future. Spoiler: There will be.

EW has confirmed that MTV has renewed The Shannara Chronicles — based on Terry Brooks’ best-selling books — for a second season, which will continue to follow the adventures of the Shannara family and their attempts to use ancient magic to affect the future of the world.

Poppy Drayton, Austin Butler, Manu Bennett, John Rhys-Davies, and Ivana Baquero star in the program.
