The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janiro, Brazil are only a few months away, and now Team USA has the perfect pump-up track to get them ready to compete. The Band Perry announced Wednesday that their latest single “Live Forever” has been selected as the official Olympic song for the United States athletes.

“‘Live Forever’ is really about those moments that make you feel like you’re going to live forever, and that really is the spirit of the Olympics. And we’re just really honored to bring that song to these guys,” said lead singer Kimberly Perry after performing the song on TODAY Wednesday.

“Live Forever” is an anthemic country-pop song, which serves as The Band Perry’s lead single from their upcoming third studio album. The motivational, ambitious lyrics of the song seem to make it an appropriate choice for an Olympics song, as Perry and her siblings belt: “This time, I want it all / I want it right now, feel the fall / Go, go crazy, go, go, go crazy / We’re gonna live, we’re gonna live forever.”

Thanks to the selection, The Band Perry now joins past artists who have been chosen to provide official Olympic songs, including Gavin DeGraw and Muse in recent years.

The 2016 Olympic Games will air August 5-21 on NBC.
