Prince fans are about to get a chance to own an essential piece of the Purple One’s film career. In two months, the black and white motorcycle jacket that Prince wore in his 1984 movie Purple Rain will be going to auction.

The jacket, all black with flecks of white and leather sleeves, was worn by Prince as he picks up his co-star Apollonia Kotero on his motorcycle in one of the most memorable scenes from Purple Rain. It’s a rare piece of memorabilia from the famously solitary artist, who died earlier this month at 57 years old.

The piece will be sold at the Calabasas auction house Profiles in History on June 29, and will be listed in the area of $6,000 to $8,000. “It’s definitely the most important piece of screen-worn Prince clothing that’s ever come up for auction,” Profiles in History president Joe Maddalena told the Associated Press. “This is a signature piece of wardrobe worn from an iconic movie in his most famous role.”
