On the heels of the season 11 finale, Criminal Minds has been renewed for a full twelfth season, EW has learned.

Throughout season 11, the long-running CBS procedural averaged 12.04 million viewers and a 2.8 in the coveted 18-49 demographic, ranking as the network’s second-highest rated drama.

The network previously picked up dramas NCIS, Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0, Elementary, Scorpion, Madam Secretary, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans; comedies The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and 2 Broke Girls; and reality veterans Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Still outstanding are the fates of Supergirl, Limitless, Life in Pieces, CSI: Cyber, Code Black, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

Criminal Minds — which hails from Erica Messer, Breen Frazier, and Mark Gordon — stars Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness. The series recently lost one of its main characters after 11 seasons. (Learn more about that here.)
