On the eve of its premiere at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, the new trailer for Woody Allen’s cinematic ode to the Hollywood of yesteryear, Café Society, has arrived online.

The latest film from the prolific Allen, Café Society takes place in 1930s Hollywood after New York native Bobby Dorfman (Jesse Eisenberg) travels to the West Coast, where he falls in love. He soon finds himself back to New York, however, where he succumbs to the temptations of the vibrant high society nightlife.

Jeannie Berlin (Inherent Vice) and Ken Stott (Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit film series) play Bobby’s Bronx-based parents, while Corey Stoll takes on the role of Ben, Bobby’s gangster brother, who can be seen in the trailer disposing of a few bodies in a pit of wet cement. Steve Carell plays Bobby’s Uncle Phil, a Hollywood agent, and Kristen Stewart plays Bobby’s love interest, Vonnie. Parker Posey, Blake Lively, and Anna Camp round out the Café Society ensemble cast.

Café Society will be distributed July 15 by Amazon Studios, which already has a packed 2016 film distribution slate. The streaming giant released the Tribeca Elvis & Nixon to theaters in April, and their Love & Friendship, starring Kate Beckinsale, opens May 13. Amazon has also slated the Casey Affleck-starring Manchester by the Sea, which the studio acquired out of the 2016 Sundance Film Festival for a reported $10 million, for an awards-friendly Nov. 18 premiere in a limited number of theaters.

Allen is also currently working on a limited-run TV series for Amazon. The as-yet-untitled project will be set in the 1960s and contain six half-hour episodes starring Joy Behar, Lewis Black, Michael Rapaport, and Miley Cyrus, whom Allen recently said he cast because of her performance on Disney’s Hannah Montana.
