Justin Timberlake just released "Can't Stop the Feeling," his new original song from DreamWorks Animation's upcoming movie Trolls, but at this year's Cannes Film Festival, he took the stage with Anna Kendrick for an acoustic performance of another track from the film: Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors."

Trolls doesn't hit theaters until November, but Kendrick and Timberlake stopped by the Palais at Cannes to share some early footage from the film and perform Lauper's classic.

Kendrick and Timberlake star as Poppy and Branch, two trolls who are forced to leave their home behind to rescue their village from a mysterious menace. James Corden, Gwen Stefani, John Cleese, Ron Funches, Zooey Deschanel, Kunal Nayyar, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Icona Pop, and Russell Brand also lent their voices to the film. Timberlake also serves as executive music producer, and "Can't Stop the Feeling" — his first solo release in almost three years — is one of several original songs from the film.

Trolls opens on Nov. 4.
