In the wake of Michael Strahan’s farewell on Live With Kelly and Michael on Friday, the morning show’s transformation is in full swing.

After losing his name in the official Twitter and Instagram handles — @LiveKelly is what followers see — the Kelly Ripa-helmed program’s new logo was unveiled on Sunday. While the font is familiar, fans will notice blue has been added to the gold logo and Strahan’s name is gone.

But the biggest change will be apparent when Ripa hits the stage without Strahan on Monday. The former NFL star’s new gig at Good Morning America doesn’t begin until September, but he exited Live! early so that the search for his replacement could begin.

In her new cover story for People, on newsstands now, Ripa indicated that she found out about Strahan’s departure around the same time as the media and addressed how ABC handled the announcement. “What we’ve explained to them is, ‘Well, if you had asked us, we would have told you, Guys, we need to start looking, because we have summer hiatus, we have vacation time. We need to find people. If we’re going to have this list narrowed down at least to a manageable size by the fall, we need to start now,’” Ripa explained, adding, “Nobody consulted us initially.”

In the coming months, Ripa will be joined by a slew of familiar faces — including Monday’s guest host, Jimmy Kimmel — until a permanent cohost for the syndicated talk show is announced. The process is expected to mirror what happened after original host Regis Philbin retired in 2011.

Live! With Kelly airs weekdays (check local listings).
