The inimitable Helena Bonham Carter turns 50 on Thursday, May 26. Now most famous for playing various wacky women in Tim Burton films and having been Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter movies, the actress began her career 30 years ago as the star of such British heritage classics as A Room with a View and Howards End.
