It’s sequel-plannin’ time! In a Thursday morning call with analysts, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said the studio’s next tentpole effort — a reboot of the Power Rangers franchise — could lead to as many as seven more films based on the property.

“We are really, really excited about the Power Rangers movie,” he said on the call, according to Variety. “We could see doing five or six or seven.” Feltheimer pointed to fan fervor over first looks at the film, including EW’s reveal of the upgraded costumes, as proof of the film’s potential big-screen-franchise-building success. (The small-screen counterpart, after all, spawned dozens of spinoffs around various teams of Rangers after the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers aired in the ’90s.) The new teens with attitude — Becky G as Yellow Ranger Trini, Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger Kimberly, Ludi Lin as Black Ranger Zack, RJ Cyler as Blue Ranger Billy, and Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger Jason — will battle Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) in the revival directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac).
