Earlier this month, Fox released a fake ’80s commercial advertising Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters as a promo for the recently released X-Men: Apocalypse. The clip also provided a toll-free number for interested candidates to call — and apparently they did: The studio just released a new video featuring some of the 75,000 voicemails left by fans eager for admission.

The messages discuss various mutations, including protruding quills, destructive sneezes, and backwards telepathy. Someone even called in as the Merc with the Mouth. “Hey, this is Deadpool,” the caller said. “I don’t want to join the X-Men, but can I please get Jean Grey’s number?”

Charles Xavier, played by James McAvoy, set up the School for Gifted Youngsters as a safe haven for mutants to receive an education and learn to control their abilities. The latest crop of students in X-Men: Apocalypse includes Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), and Jubilee (Lana Condor).

X-Men: Apocalypse is now playing in theaters. Hear the voicemails above.
