TV Land wants more of George Lopez. Today, the network gave the go-ahead for a second season of Lopez, the sitcom starring and executive produced by the comedian.

The half-hour, single-camera series currently airs on TV Land on Wednesdays, with a season 1 finale set for June 22. Troy Miller directed all 12 episodes of the first season and served as executive producer alongside Lopez, John Altschuler, Dave Krinsky, and Michael Rotenberg.

Lopez centers on the eponymous comedian as he tries to give back to the Latino community, while feeling overwhelmed by the various demands of his hometown and the world of celebrity. Premiering almost nine years after George Lopez ended, the series also features Anthony “Citric” Campos, Maronzio Vance, James M. Connor, Hayley Huntley, and more.

Elsewhere, TV Land renewed Younger for season 3 and announced orders for the Melissa McCarthy-produced Nobodies, a Heathers anthology reboot, and a First Wives Club adaptation.
