Ansel Elgort is an emoji now

Ansel Elgort’s animated expressions are getting a mobile makeover.

The Fault in Our Stars actor and DJ launched emoji app Anselfie on Thursday, joining the ranks of Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, and the scores of other celebrities digitalizing their famous faces.

Elgort announced the news on Instagram, sharing a stream of goofy snapshots to promote his new endeavor. “If you know me, you know I’m always trying to come up with funny ways to entertain you guys. I constantly send stupid selfies to my friends making funny emoji-like expressions, so then I came up with this crazy idea,” Elgort wrote in the app’s description. “I re-created a bunch of the emoji expressions we all love — as well as some signature Ansel expressions you may already know.”

Anselfie is currently available in the iTunes app store for $2.99. Elgort is next set to star in Sacha Gervasi’s crime drama November Criminals alongside Chloë Grace Moretz.
