Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: Eva Green, Asa Butterfield feature in new character posters

Meet the abnormal inhabitants of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Eva Green and Asa Butterfield are two of the many peculiarities in a new batch of posters for the upcoming film.

Taking its name and inspiration from the young-adult novel by Ransom Riggs, the adaptation tells of Jake (Butterfield), a boy who discovers a haven for fantastical children with extraorindary abilities led by the shapeshifting Miss Peregrine (Green). Jake, too, is more than what he seems as he tries to unravel the mystery of this place.

Some of the children in the eponymous home are the levitating Emma (Ella Purnell), the invisible Millard (Cameron King), the fiery Olive (Lauren McCrostie), a peculiar set of twins (Thomas and Joseph Odwell), and the herculean Bronwyn (Pixie Davies). It’s worth noting that the book envisioned Olive with a talent for air and Emma with the talent for fire, whereas they are swapped in the film.

Tim Burton directs Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children from a screenplay by Jane Goldman (Kingsman: The Secret Service). The film will hit theaters on Sept. 30, while Riggs teased a new trailer “coming soon.”
