'Wayward Pines': Pilcher makes an offer Rebecca can't refuse in exclusive clip

The next episode of Wayward Pines will take you back — way, way back to the beginning of Wayward Pines itself. In the exclusive clip above, David Pilcher (Toby Jones) recruits Rebecca (Nimrat Kaur) into his cause. The flashback shows him explaining the concept of the town as “a small, enlightened community that grew gradually until it became the most essential, the most significant community” in the world. “You’d want to be a part of that, wouldn’t you?” he wonders.

Rebecca says she would, but Pilcher warns it’s not just about building a safe paradise — it’s about building humanity’s ark. And he’ll have Rebecca, who was an architect before she became Pines’ lone beautician, design the ark itself.

Clearly, she succeeded in creating it — but will the fence hold and keep the ark safe? The answer to that and other burning questions will be revealed on tonight’s episode of Wayward Pines, which airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
