Chicago police are on the lookout for Sinead O’Connor after receiving word that the Irish singer had threatened to kill herself.

A police spokesperson confirmed to EW that the Chicago Police Department received a call from authorities in Dublin warning that O’Connor, 49, had apparently told family members she would jump off a bridge in the Chicago area. In response, the CPD issued an “all call” advising officers to be on alert for the singer.

O’Connor has displayed erratic behavior in the past. Last month she was found safe after going missing in nearby Wilmette, Illinois, and last year she was found safe in Dublin after posting a suicidal note on Facebook.

Representatives at O’Connor’s management company and record label, both based in Europe, could not be reached for immediate comment.

TMZ first reported the news about O’Connor being sought by Chicago police.
