July Fourth songs: Katy Perry, Toby Keith, Miley Cyrus top YouTube's most popular Fourth of July songs

July Fourth celebrations bring out the red, white, and blue in all of us. Now we have actual data to back that up.

According to Billboard, YouTube data collected from 2013-2015 shows a spike in 14 songs on the Fourth of July based on the views on various videos associated with each song title. Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.” tops the list, followed by Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Traditional American anthems that made the top 14 include “God Bless America,” “Yankee Doodle,” and a specific rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” — Jennifer Hudson’s at the 2009 Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Katy Perry’s “Firework” and “Teenage Dream,” Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.,” and two more Keith songs also made the cut.
