As if Tom Petty wasn’t bringing enough star power back to Mudcrutch with his return, the group just recruited silverscreen heavyweights Anthony Hopkins, Sean Penn, and Samuel Bayer for their latest video, “I Forgive It All,” off their sophomore album, 2.

The iconic Silence of the Lambs actor stars in the black and white clip, while Penn and Bayer co-directed — and the results are as devastating as the song itself.

Petty formed Mudcrutch in 1970 with with Tom Leadon, Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell, and Randall Marsh and the group dominated the Florida music scene until their breakup in 1975. (Petty, Tench, and Campbell would stay together, ultimately forming the singer’s longstanding backing band the Heartbreakers soon after.) They first reformed in 2008, when 38 years following their first shows, they released their self-titled, debut album. They recently completed their first major tour.
