Source Point Press will publish a graphic novel inspired by director Adam Green’s sitcom Holliston on Oct. 26, the publisher announced Monday. The tome is titled Holliston: Friendship is Tragic and features the four main characters from the movie-centric show, who are played by Green, his fellow filmmaker Joe Lynch, and actresses Laura Ortiz and Corri English. In the graphic novel, “Adam” finds a cursed credit card and buys his friends Halloween gifts. Soon, mad killers, giant monsters, and evil aliens are on the loose, as well as the deadliest threat of all: success!

The graphic novel will also feature the characters Lance Rockett and Crazy Max, who are portrayed on Holliston by, respectively, Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 actor Bill Moseley.

Holliston premiered on FearNET in 2012 and ran for two seasons but has been on hiatus since the collapse of the cable network and the 2014 death of cast member and GWAR frontman Dave Brockie. Last year, Green and Lynch announced that the sitcom was set to return on the GeekNation digital network, home to the pair’s weekly film podcast The Movie Crypt.

Holliston: Friendship is Tragic is written by Greg Wright and edited by Travis McIntire, with pencils and inks by Stephen Sharar, and colors and letters by Joshua Werner. The graphic novel is available for preorder at the Source Point Press website.
