Star Trek Beyond final trailer debuts

A fourth Star Trek film is officially a go, but the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise must first survive Star Trek Beyond.

That’s easier said than done, judging from the final trailer for Beyond, which Paramount dropped on Monday. “Can you imagine what we’ll find?” Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk asked about the crew’s five-year trip around the galaxy. To which Bones (Karl Urban) replies: “Alien despots hell bent on killing us, deadly space viruses, anomalies that could wipe us out in an instant.”

Those are just some of the issues that the crew encounters as they find themselves separated from each other and their ship as they face off against the mysterious Krall (Idris Elba).

Star Trek Beyond launches into theaters on Friday.
