Tilda Swinton and Giancarlo Esposito are pounding the pavement in the first official image from Netflix’s monster movie Okja, though there’s no sign of the titular creature yet.

Directed by Bong Joon-Ho (Snowpiercer, The Host), the film tells the story of a young girl (Seohyun An) fighting to prevent a powerful multinational company from kidnapping her best friend — who happens to be a massive animal named Okja.

Along with Swinton and Esposito, seen above looking serious on a New York City street, the cast includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, and Steven Yeun. Bong and Jon Ronson (Frank) wrote the script.

Bong previously said of the movie, “I want to show the beauty that can exist between man and animal, and also the horror between them.”

Okja will premiere globally on Netflix in 2017 and will also have a limited day-and-date theatrical release in the U.S.
