Stars, they’re just like us: they play elaborate ghost pranks on friends during sleepovers.

On Wednesday’s Late Late Show with James Corden, guest Cara Delevingne explained how she teamed with Orange Is the New Black stars Uzo Aduba and Ruby Rose to prank Kesha and the Haim sisters during Taylor Swift’s star-studded July 4 party.

“Kesha, she was sleeping on the top floor with the Haim sisters,” Delevingne said. “They were all in this creepy area of the house. They were watching murder mysteries all day. Me, Ruby Rose, and Uzo Aduba decided to become a ghost crew, and started making this massive plot to scare the crap out of them. We got torches, speakers, we did sound effects. We were going to do rocking chairs with bits of thread outside. We went full in.”

According to Delevingne, the trio received permission from Swift and boyfriend Tom Hiddleston “because the security is massive so we don’t want to get shot in America.”

“We told them, we set it up,” she said, noting that the prank took a little while to take off. But when it did, things went pretty far. “They nearly called the police. Which is funny because I love that you would call the police if you think there was a ghost outside your house,” Delevingne said. “That’s why there should be real Ghostbusters.”

As for Swift and Hiddleston, Delevingne said they were woken up by the shenanigans. “They came upstairs, and Uzo was in the corner with a light and a speaker, I was throwing myself on the floor and punching things. … They were like, ‘We’re just going to walk back downstairs and leave this scene.'”
